RELIGIOUS MATTERS-
Welcome to 2025!
Lord, as we begin this new year, guide us in our journey of learning, service, and faith. May we grow closer to You, support one another, and always act with kindness and compassion. Amen.
BEGINNING STAFF MASS WITH ST JOSEPH'S CORAKI
Last Friday we began the 2025 School Year by celebrating Mass with the staff from St Joseph's Coraki. It was fitting that it was also the Feast Day of St John Bosco.
St. John Bosco’s approach to education was rooted in his understanding that young people learn best when they feel cared for, respected, and supported.
As we begin this school year, we are reminded of his example to be not only educators but also mentors who model Christ’s love and compassion for the students in our care.
We thank Mrs Campbell for organising the Mass and for Mrs Coster and the staff at St Joseph's Coraki for their hospitality.
JUBILEE YEAR- PILGRIMS OF HOPE
Theme for the Year: Pilgrims of Hope
This year, our school theme aligns with the Catholic Jubilee theme, Pilgrims of Hope. As we journey through this year together, we are reminded that, as pilgrims, we walk with faith, hope, and love, trusting in God’s guidance. Just as pilgrims continue their journey toward a sacred destination, we too are called to grow in our relationship with God, support one another, and share the light of hope with those around us. May this year be a time of spiritual growth, where each of us, as a pilgrim, takes meaningful steps in faith, trust, and hope.

CATHOLIC SOCIAL TEACHING
Each month, this year we will focus on one aspect of Catholic Social Teaching. For February, as we begin the new school year and welcome our new students we will d highlight "The Dignity of the Human Person" and remember how each individual is created in the image of God, deserving of respect and love.
This Catholic Social Teaching reminds us that every person has inherent dignity and is worthy of respect. This month, let us strive to see the face of Christ in every person we meet.
