RELIGIOUS MATTERS
FEAST DAY OF ST JOSEPH
During our Liturgy to acknowledge St. Joseph, the children beautifully reflected on how we can all strive to embody the qualities of St. Joseph in our own lives.
Joseph was trusting. Help us God to put our lives into your hands. All: We say ‘yes’ to God.
Joseph was faithful. Help us God to believe that you are always with us. All: We say ‘yes’ to God.
Joseph was confident. Help us God to be sure of your love and care. All: We say ‘yes’ to God.
Joseph was loving. Help us God to show our love and care to others. All: We say ‘yes’ to God.
Joseph was courageous. Help us God to turn to you when things are difficult. All: We say ‘yes’ to God.
Joseph was strong. Help us God to be brave and fearless because you are with us.All: We say ‘yes’ to God.
Joseph was hopeful. Help us God to know that your light will show us the way. All: We say ‘yes’ to God.
Joseph was determined. Help us God to stay true and faithful disciples. All: We say ‘yes’ to God.

THE SEASON OF LENT- 2nd Sunday
As a school family, we will support Project Compassion - Caritas Australia this Lenten season, to help support vulnerable people around the world, now and for all future generations.
The theme of Project Compassion is 'Unite Against Poverty’. The good we do today will extend and impact the lives of generations to come. It is also a call for all of us to play our part in making the world a better place by working together as sisters and brothers in finding long-term solutions to global issues.
Each class has been given a Project Compassion Mission Box and students have also been given a mission box to take home. I had a long discussion with the children yesterday about the importance of us helping, and how each of us can make a real difference. Come on Joeys we can dig deep to help. If you would like to donate to Project Compassion this year your support would be most appreciated.
Please return the Project Compassion Mission Boxes by Monday 7 April 2025.
