SNIPPETS FROM THE AP - Mrs Sophie Denison

It’s been a fantastic term at Lego Club! Our budding builders have been busy developing a range of skills through a mix of guided and creative activities.

We’ve focused on following instructions to build Lego sets, helping us improve our focus, patience, and attention to detail. We’ve also had lots of opportunities for creative free play, where imaginations have truly taken flight. From building Harry Potter worlds and magical castles to hotels, houses, shopping malls, and even lost cities guarded by dragons and knights, the creativity on display has been amazing!

This term, we also began exploring the world of coding using our Spheros. These fun, interactive robots introduced us to basic coding concepts like directions, sequences, and problem-solving in a hands-on and exciting way.

We’re looking forward to continuing to grow our coding skills and seeing where our imaginations take us in Term 2!
