Religious Matters: Megan Boyd
Sunday Gospel Reading:
26th Sunday of Ordinary Time
Matthew 21:28-32
Jesus poses a question to the chief priests and elders on the meaning of obedience.
Jesus told the parable of a man who had two sons He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard. ’I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go. Which of the two did what his father wanted? The first,” they answered.
YEAR FOUR RE UNIT-4.6 :
ONE WITH GOD'S CREATION
In Religious Education this term Year 4 have been studying a unit called One with God's Creation. It reminds students that we are all created in the image of God, and that we are called to live in harmony with our world. In this unit, students grow in understanding of God as creator and appreciate more fully that creation is our gift to treasure. The unit focuses on developing an understanding of our responsibility to care for God’s creation. It also explores our decisions to respect and care for the environment which will affect our world, both now and in the future.
As part of their learning, our Year 4 students wrote prayers of praise to God using Google Slides. The following are examples of their excellent efforts.
