Principals Message
Dear Families
WORLD KINDNESS DAY
Tomorrow is World Kindness Day. It is a global day that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and to the world. The purpose of this day celebrated on November 13 of each year, is to help everyone understand that compassion for others is what binds us all together.
WHAT WILL WE AS INDIVIDUALS DO TOMORROW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONE'S LIFE THROUGH KINDNESS?
WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT IF EVERY DAY WAS WORLD KINDNESS DAY!
REMEMBRANCE DAY
Yesterday silence fell across each state and territory for one minute as Australia commemorated those who have died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
Remembrance Day marks the end of fighting on the Western Front on November 11, 1918.
On Thursday at eleven am on the eleventh day of the eleventh-month students and staff held a minutes silence, followed by a beautiful commemorative liturgy to remember those men and women who have served and those who have died in all wars and peacekeeping operations.
The red poppy was worn by all students and staff as a symbol of remembrance and hope that has continued since World War I.
