Week 10 Term 2 2025
Dear Families,
Thank You
Where do I begin to thank this amazing community? I am incredibly grateful for so much this term
I am grateful for having the opportunity to spend my days with your amazing children. They have brought a smile to my face on the most stressful days and have reminded me, over and over again, why I first started teaching and why I love my job.
I am grateful to the parents of St Joseph's. You embraced me from the beginning and have been a source of constant encouragement throughout the term. Your warm and kind manner and strong value for education demonstrate that you have your children at the centre of all your decision-making. This has made my job very easy and enjoyable. Everyone always says, "There is something in the water at Woodburn", and you guys are a very big part of this.
I am grateful for my amazing leadership team and staff. They have put up with my crazy ideas and demanding ways and have embraced everything I have thrown at them. You are blessed to have them leading your children's future.
Although I am leaving the school, I am still a part of this amazing community, so I hope to see you all around town.
Have an amazing holiday with your beautiful children and continue your amazing ways
Felicity xo
Music Lessons
Music Corp enrolments are now open for our students for Term 3 to learn to play guitar, drums, keyboard, violin, brass and woodwind.
We have secured a teacher for Mondays at school, and there are a couple of spaces left. The teacher has limited availability, so once these spaces are filled, we may not be able to offer any more.
Children receive an instrument to use whilst enrolled.
Please visit the link to enrol or contact Music Corp on 1300 858 911 for more information. https://rent.musicorp.com.au/tuition_online_eoi/
Family Connect
DID YOU KNOW…
Did you know that Cass, the Family Connect in School worker at St Joseph’s Woodburn, can help you apply for NDIS for your child?
She can give you the forms you need and guide you step-by-step through the whole process, making it easier to understand and complete.
Cass warmly invites families to reach out anytime—either through the school or by contacting her directly—if you’d like more information or support.
